In this day and age, vehicular progress is at its height. If you want to get around New Erewhon efficiently, you’re going to need one. Luckily, there’s all sorts to choose from — and you can even modify them yourself. 

 

There are set vehicle bases to choose from, but they can be customized however you want! Every vehicle has two stats: HP and DEXTERITY. Dexterity doubles as an attack stat. Weapons and armor can be purchased and built to boost these stats. 

 

You also have the option to buy vehicles that have higher stats as they are.

 

For Example:
DANNY starts with a basic car that has 50 PHP and 25 DEX. He upgrades its armor to boost its HP to 100, DEX to 40, and attaches tire-mounted guns that add an additional +10 to ATTACK. 

 

GALE purchases a Porsche 356 that comes with 100 PHP, and 50 DEX. 

 

When a vehicle is damaged, it will lose HP and need to be repaired. This mechanic is similar to healing a character.

If a vehicle takes 10 or less damage, they can be repaired on the spot; if you have the skills for it. Any further damage will need to be repaired after the event ends, at a mechanic! If you have any points in the Vehicles and Machinery skill, you may roll once out of the event to fix your vehicle yourself! You’ll be able to ask a mod to help you with this. Rolling yourself doesn’t guarantee a full fix, but paying a mechanic does!

 

Sometimes you will need to decide between pulling a vehicle or risking its loss. When a vehicle reaches 0 HP, it is destroyed and you’ll have to buy a new one. This means losing any upgrades you may have made to it.
