1. Can I join if I'm under 18?
Unfortunately, no. Due to mature themes, we didn't want to risk exposing younger players to potentially distressing content.​

2. Can I buy items for a friend or transfer silver to them?

Yes and yes!

3. Can my OCs have pets?

Yes, but keep it within reason! You do not have to buy pets, but if you want them to be able to assist in rolls, you can buy Animal Treats from the shop!

4. Can I have redacted information in my character app?

Yes! But please make sure you submit the full unredacted version in your join form!

5. How many OCs can we have?

For now, the limit is 4! But depending on interest, we may add another.

​

6. How many OCs can I start with?

Only 1 for your initial join request! You will earn a free slot after a month of participation, and more slots must be purchased with silver!

 

7. Can my OC be a robot or a powerless human?

No! Your character must be at least somewhat organic, and elemental or else you won't be able to experience the group the way it's meant to be experienced.

8. Can my OC switch factions?

Yes! But they have to have earned a certain amount of Cred or Shields to be trusted to do so! In very rare cases, if your OC manages to piss off both factions enough, then they could also end up in jail until they can earn back trust.

This is to prevent flip-flopping and making things difficult for everyone involved.

9. How many members will be accepted?

For the first opening, we're planning on accepting around 12 members per faction! So, a total of 24. The small number is so the mods will be able to better focus on the cast of characters and their personal arcs that members discuss with us overtime.

10. Where is the prequel group? Do I need to know about that to participate?

You do not need to know things about our prequel group, Brass Tacks, to participate! Everything you'll need to know will be available and learning about it is voluntary. It can be found here if you do want to read about it!

11. What is Alchemical Glass?

Alchemical Glass is a glass that was created to nullify Elemental abilities. It cannot be controlled and contact with it makes it impossible to control elements. It was outlawed and destroyed after The War of the Gods, aside from restraints used by Aegis and the government in order to subdue dangerous criminals. Prolonged exposure over years can cause sickness and death.

12. What is the lifespan of an Elemental?

Elementals can live up to 140 years on average! They mature at a similar rate as humans until they hit their 50s, where the aging process slows down.

13. What is the Natural Elemental, Unnatural Elemental, to human ratio? 

Natural Elementals make up the majority of Caelum's population, about %55. Whereas Unnaturals currently make up an estimate of %30 and humans only %15.
