Urania
Urania is a small country that the story will primarily take place in.
Newhaven is an island that was purchased by Elemental, Fane Oshiro 100 years ago. It is the first protected sanctuary where only Elementals live. It is illegal for normal humans to set foot on the island. Elementals live in peace here, having built their own community. The Elementals here are some of the most advanced, due to Fane’s studies and teachings on how to properly wield their power.
Bonham (DESTROYED) is the capital city of Urania. This is where the leaders of the country reside, and where science and politics are the main focus. There are huge buildings, busy streets, rich businesses, and airships as far as the eye can see. It is certainly one of the richest cities in Urania.
Hyrum is the industrial capital of Urania, mainly focussing on travel. Planes, blimps, trains, ships and the newest form of travel being teleportation, which was invented here.
Cherrystone Harbor is a smaller city that is the resting place of many pirates, good and bad, from the sea and sky. This place is where alchemy, and alternative medicine is mainly practiced. The fishing industry is booming here, and you can find a fresh seafood stand on every corner.
St. Elva is a city built into huge mountains. It is home to many religious groups, mainly monks. There is a beautiful temple on the very top of the mountains. St. Elva is well known for its natural springs, where many go to bathe in. It is said to have magic healing properties.
Tennfjord is mostly farmlands. There are fruit orchards as far as the eye can see, and vast fields. Lots of people go here to steal fresh goods. However, it is said that some who go to steal from certain orchards have never returned.
Land of the Serpent is a landmass that broke off of Urania’s mainland after a series of devastating earthquakes long ago. It is shaped like a serpent, and happens to have the most sightings of the legendary sea serpent, Pelagius, who is said to live between it and the mainland. Land of the Serpent is Urania’s biggest tourist attraction due to the sea monster.
Pale Desert is a place between Urania and its neighboring country, New Erewhon. The desert is much too hot for most human life, often reaching temperatures over 100 °F year-round. Though there aren’t many humans living here, there are however, many terrifying desert creatures that call this place home.
